My flight left London Heathrow on 17th September 2019. 18 hours is a long flight and I had a lot to think about. I have already spent time away from home but I forgot the feeling of moving so far away and all the different thoughts that come with it. One thought was how I was actually going to get from the airport in Japan to my bosses somewhere in Tokyo, navigating the public transport and finding my way across the city. Luckily this didn’t take too much time to sort out an so instead my attention turned to all you people I love and will miss this year.

This is just a shoutout and thank you to all my mates who I’m going to miss. I made sure to have a great summer and previous year, I’ll cherish all the memories. Those who I didn’t get to see I do apologise, I miss you all and will be sure to keep in touch. My next blog will be longer and hopefully better. I’ll talk about my first week settling, getting grips to the company and life in Tokyo.
